Q: What initially inspired you to book a boudoir session? 

I thought it would be a good present for my fiancé on our wedding night and I saw Melonie at the wedding expo I went to.

Q: How did you feel leading up to your shoot day?

I was really excited and didn’t get nervous up until about 5 minutes to walking into the studio. My mind had shifted at that point... it wasn’t just for my fiancé it was also for me. I wanted to be able to see myself in the eyes that my finance saw me because I didn’t always see myself in the same way.

Q: What was it like seeing your images for the first time?

The first image I saw I really didn’t think it was me, but then I saw the color of the outfit and the shoes and knew that it was me. It was probably the first time that I saw myself as “hot”. I didn’t realize that my eyes could pop so much either!

Q: Has anything changed for you since your boudoir experience and viewing your images? How has boudoir influenced how you see yourself as a woman?

I definitely feel more confident and comfortable in my own skin, which helps with everything!
